September 27th, 2025 THE PONTIAC ALUMNI FOUNDATION is hosting a Gala at Ronnie McNeir’s Sunset Island Night Club, 7 N/ Saginaw, Pontiac, MI.
The celebration is: 1) to showcase some of the exciting programs available in the Pontiac school district, 2) honoring some of our successful Pontiac graduates.
One of our honorees is Edwin Watson, a graduate of Pontiac Northern who when on to play college football at Purdue University. In 1998 Watson was selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He later played for the Philadelphia Eagles until his career was cut short due to injury. After leaving professional football Mr Watson began investing in real estate and ultimately co-founded Triple E Realty and Triple E Property Management with his wife, Evona Watson. Their companies manage approximately 800 residential units and assist clients with buying, selling and investing in in properties. Mr. Watson wants to establish an athletic scholarship for a Pontiac graduate.
