I was born in Grand Rapids Michigan and moved to Pontiac Michigan at an early age. I attended several schools in the Pontiac school district, Wilson, McConnell, Longfellow, and Robert Frost elementary schools, Eastern and Kennedy Jr High schools, culminating in graduating from the greatest High School in Michigan, Pontiac Central High in 1975.

I attended Pontiac Business Institute for a few semesters before gaining employment with General Motors in 1977. I retired from GM in 2005 and in 2007 decided to revive my educational journey by attending Oakland Community College- receiving my associate’s degree in accounting. I then moved on to Wayne State University receiving my Batchelor and master’s degrees in accounting as well.

I am Currently the Sole Proprietor of Walker Tax Preparation LLC. I have been married to Marcia Walker for 38 years and have two children and six beautiful grandchildren. I attend Franklin Rd. Church of Christ and have been a member since 1995.

I want to bring enthusiasm back to our children in the city to the degree it was when I was a student. I am happy to serve on the PAF board of Directors as the treasurer.
